Our dog was under the care of Dr Richard Mitchell and Dr Natalie Langer. I could not speak more highly of the care and compassion we received over multiple health issues with our dog from Dr Mitchell. He is very down to earth, very approachable and warm-hearted. He reassured me over (and alleviated) any concerns I had every step of the way. Every effort was made by him to accommodate our personal situation without any degradation of care for our dog. I have to make special note of how fantastic the reception staff are also. They are warm, friendly and welcoming. I couldn't ask for a higher standard of care from either Dr Mitchell or his staff.

Great Vet, Great Surgeons and staff. Would never go anywhere else if it wasn't so far from my home.

Totally professional, caring, compassionate and very efficient. Can not say enough nice things about the people who work here and the care given our dog Pippa who was quite sick when we arrived from a referral. She was in their care at the doggy hospital for about a week and is still under their umbrella of care. We were allowed to visit for short periods time and have felt that all needs were taken care of on the animal side and the people side!

Unfortunately, I am not able to offer the same commendation to Dr Langer. Despite our dog having a known vomiting issue, the only medication she would prescribe has a known side effect of nausea/vomiting! Even with intervention from our local vet, she refused to prescribe or endorse any of the other medication options that didn't carry the same effects. The final discussion with her culminated in her having decided that the vomiting was now a 'new issue' (despite that having been one of the initial symptoms presented to her and having been in existence for months) and therefore would take a raft of different exploratory testing and procedures to diagnose. When I pointed out I was unable to financially accommodate an incorrect initial diagnosis and a decision that "more testing is required", I was told "If you haven't got the money, I can't help you any more". Whilst I understand this is true, her bluntness, misdiagnosis, and mismanagement of treatment left me feeling that I would have been better to have sought help for those specific issues elsewhere.

Our pup Wally had fairly severe hip dysplasia & was in alot of pain- limping after minimal activity and whimpering in the evening, his surgery, a bilateral double pelvic osteotomy, performed by Dr. Richard was a remarkable success and he was in less pain instantly. He now has a chance at a long pain free life and it's all thanks to NCVS!

The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. The vets are great and certainly know what they are talking about. This is next to a mother very busy vet surgery so parking can sometimes be an issue but generally not. The waiting area is very comfortable and gives a hint of the fee to come. Here you pay for the quality of the staff and vets being generally quite pricey this o e adds a little more. But when your little family member is sick this is where to bring them. Just a tip though.... Pet insurance!!!!
